What is a senior data analyst at Gozem ?

Our senior data analyst will be in charge of understanding user-behaviour through metric movements, and design market/business intelligence reports, performance measurement dashboards and other data products in order to transmit this knowledge to all our teams. To do so, you will work closely with our Data Processing Manager, and all our data team. He/She will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Your tasks:

• Measure and analyse business performance in each of our services
• Partner with management and operational teams to deep dive on core issues and use our data to find answers.
• Develop data applications, reports and boards that provide analytical insights of our operational performance
• Automate your work
• Be a technical leader in the Data Analysis team, supporting other, and enabling them to perform better

You are the right person for this job if you have...

• have a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases
• have demonstrated experience and methodology in handling large data sets and relational databases
• are able to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• have a very good understanding of addressing and metadata standards
• are able to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
• are able to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
• are able to develop algorithms (including segmentation & predictive models)

You have

• Level of education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or mathematics
• 5 years min of work experience as a data analyst
• Self-motivated, independent learner, and enjoy sharing knowledge with team members
• Mandatory skills:Mastery of Google Analytics / SQL / Python / Alteryx
• Skills we are looking for in addition: knowledge of any programming language (Python)
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Tools to master: Asana, G-Suite

Interview process

• An initial introductory meeting with the recruitment manager (15 minutes)
• A written interview questionnaire
• A 45-minute analytic exercise.
• A business case to be completed within 08 days
• A presentation of your business case with the head of the Data team (future n+1) and a time to discuss your professional experience followed by a referral request (you give us 4 professional contacts to whom we send a questionnaire)
• One final validation interview with one of our co-founders
