The GenAI Lighthouse team within KTI consists of innovators and problem solvers committed to empowering KONE with the capabilities of GenAI.

We work together on daily basis in KTI among IT, R&D and Innovations team. We collaborate closely with KONE’s business teams to identify and address their needs, utilizing GenAI to develop solutions that are both pioneering and practical. Our objective is to drive innovation and efficiency, thereby enabling KONE to maintain its leadership position in the industry.

We are now looking for

Senior GenAI Platform Architect

to join the KONE GenAI Lighthouse Team, a pioneering group dedicated to leading the way with GenAI at KONE.

As a Senior GenAI Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of GenAI solutions at KONE. You will be a key member of the GenAI Lighthouse team, tasked with the development of a robust tech stack, crafting reference architectures, and designing application blueprints to steer KONE's GenAI solutions. Your expertise will drive the evaluation of new ideas and the creation of proof of concepts, contributing to KONE's journey in developing smart and sustainable urban solutions.

The position is based in Espoo, Finland and you will report to Lulu Zhang, Head of Technology and Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive tech stack for GenAI solutions.
• Design and establish reference architectures and application blueprints for GenAI solutions aligned with KONE's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with the KONE Architecture Community and cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate innovative ideas for GenAI applications.
• Spearheaded the development of proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and value of GenAI initiatives.
• Advocate for best practices in architecture design, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align GenAI solutions with business needs and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in architecture design and development
• Experience in architecting GenAI solutions is an asset.
• In-depth experience with AWS technologies to architect security-resilient, scalable, and flexible systems that support fast deployment of GenAI solutions.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related fields.
• Commitment to KONE's values, driving excellence and innovation in our field.
• Proven ability to work in virtual teams, excelling in emotional intelligence to foster inspiration, collaboration, and a psychologically safe workspace
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of efficiently articulating complex technical concepts to a broad audience.
