Chubb Life: Data Analytics Lead, Global Office (12 month FTC)

Reporting to the Head of Global Data Transformation for Chubb Life, the Data Analytics Lead is a 12-month contract role which will focus on developing reusable, value-driven analytics products. 

Analytics Value Delivery

• With the long-term strategy in mind, delivery quick-win, value-evidenced analytics outcomes focused on increased sales/leads and reduced costs impacts
• Ensure value of deliveries can be clearly evidenced and reported, demonstrating the Total Value of Ownership of Data & Analytics

Identify opportunities

• Evaluate existing data to identify patterns and opportunities for quick-win analytics products
• Partner with Customer, Operations & Distribution teams to ensure model supports their near-term and strategic targets and outcomes

Deliver reusability and simplicity

• Ensure deliveries meet the needs of the requesting team/market; however, ensure that the products can be reused for other teams/markets
• Demonstrate how to translate a complex analytics model into clear, understandable business actions & outcomes

• Graduate in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or similar, and/or
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Data & Analytics
• At least 5 years’ experience in leading a team, with experience leading onshore/offshore teams a strong advantage
• Proven record in driving value through Data & Analytics
• Demonstrated ability to identify, articulate and resolve bias within models for the good of both the customer and the company
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience in data and visualization tools such as DataBricks, Snowflake, Qlik Sense, Power BI
• Strong business knowledge, understanding both customer needs and sales expectations. Experience in Insurance/Finance industry is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, or Korean is an advantage
