Job Description

JD for Microsoft Power Platform Developer : Power BI + Power Automate + Power App

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, preferably with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Power APP Developer or similar role, preferably with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Power Automate Developer or similar role, preferably with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Must have created at least 1 App using Low code / No Code Power APP tool independently
• Demonstrated experience in integrating Power Apps and Power BI Projects
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data visualization, automations using Power Automate flows and business intelligence.
• Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing using low and no code solutions
• Utilize connectors, leverage AI Builder, design Power BI reports and dashboards, build Power Apps and portals, and leverage Power Automate to create business process flows.
• Design and create database models.
• Knowledge on Power Virtual Agents is a plus.
• Knowledge on any other BI tools like Looker Studio, Qlik Sense, Tableau is a plus.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI: Must have In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI desktop, Power BI service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate : Must have In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI Integration Projects
• SharePoint : Proficiency in creating and handling SharePoint Lists and custom development
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, including designing star and snowflake schemas, and creating calculated columns, measures, and hierarchies.
• Data Integration: Experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to connect Power BI with various data sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
• SQL and Database Knowledge: Proficient in writing SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Microsoft Fabric and Copilot : Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components and CoPilot is a plus.
• Data Visualization: Ability to create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Data Analysis: Capable of understanding and interpreting business requirements to perform data analysis and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance and best practices for ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and manipulation.
• Designing end-to-end solutions that improves collaboration, productivity and knowledge sharing.
• Identifying areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitating process improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office Tools should be well-versed with functions, VBA Macros, and automation tools.
• *Preference will be given to the Microsoft certified professionals

 Certifications :

• PL 300 is a must
• PL 900 is a plus
• PL 100 is a plus
• PL 500 is a plus
• Any other certifications relevant to Data Analyst role.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, troubleshoot errors, and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to own assignments and deliver them independently
• The candidate should be open to working in UK and India shifts and extend shifts whenever required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
