Job Description Summary
As a Data Strategist/Data Scientist at Philips Healthcare – S&SD, you will contribute to shaping our data-driven future. As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and execution of data strategies that drive innovation and competitive advantage. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments, you will identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic decision-making and operational improvements. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth data analysis, building predictive models, and translating insights into actionable recommendations. With your expertise in data science techniques and advanced analytics tools, you will drive the development of machine learning algorithms and data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement data strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Building and deploying advanced machine learning models to adapt existing reporting methodologies and processes, forecast trends, optimize processes, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business processes and operations.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and data strategy development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Additional skills and experience that are desirable:
- Preference to work GMT+6, GMT+5, or GMT+4 time zones
- Experience in Healthcare or Medical Technology Sectors, preferred
- Working knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Experience with Azure services, preferred
- Experience with R
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
