Head of Data Insights

The Engineering team at Veriff is at the forefront of combating the online identity crisis, employing cutting-edge technologies to ensure our platform remains innovative and secure. Our Data Insights division is committed to delivering timely and accurate insights, ensuring that every decision is backed by data-driven precision. We're dedicated to continuous improvement, constantly refining our processes and methodologies to uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability. Joining our Data Insights division, comprised of approximately 20 skilled individuals specializing in Data Warehousing, Business Analytics, and Product Analytics, you'll play a key role in safeguarding honest users online. 

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Setting the standard for timely and accurate delivery of insights, you'll lead initiatives to continuously improve quality, ensuring our insights remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Understanding the unique insight needs of each division is key. Collaboratively, our stakeholders influence our capabilities, and individually, they require ongoing support to meet their evolving requirements.
• Our insight quality must remain unaffected by changes in data sources. Sources should also continuously improve on simplifying consumption and increasing their quality based on how the associated insight is being built and leveraged across the business. Not every insight is born equal, e.g. some operational insight is better delivered through operational tooling vs business intelligence.
• Maintaining top-class compliance and data protection standards is non-negotiable at Veriff.
• Our tools and platforms prioritize a customer-centric approach, emphasizing user experience and empowerment. Self-service and enablement are at the core of our ambitions.
• Measurable targets drive our teams forward, with regular engagement surveys ensuring continuous improvement. Every meaningful win should be celebrated.
• Beyond internal insights, our Data Insight team powers customer analytics, fostering collaboration with our Product division while upholding operational excellence.
• From executing orders to tackling unforeseen tasks, you'll adapt to the dynamic demands of the role.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

• Technical proficiency regarding the terminology and architecture of modern data engineering and business intelligence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven track record of delivering data insights sustainably and at pace
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engaging with senior leaders
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, transforming challenges into actionable solutions.
• Seasoned people manager
• Leadership experience with a successful history of organizational change
• Reasonable understanding of modern product methodologies
