Job Description:

As a Business/Market Analyst specializing in AI products, you will be crucial in analysing market trends and existing AI-based products, gathering business requirements, and producing technical documentation to support our product development efforts. You will provide insights into market dynamics, identify business opportunities, and ensure alignment between customer needs and product functionalities.
As an AI Lab Deputy, you will be a local representative of the Business Unit manager who reports to the Head of AI Lab Business. You will carry responsibilities related to organizing, managing, and supporting the operations of an AI Lab Business Unit in the Hanoi office.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:

• Conducted comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in the AI product market.
• Analyse market data and industry reports to assess market size, growth potential, and market segmentation.
• Generate insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives

Business Analysis:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Verysell Group departments, including department management, engineering, and sales, to gather and prioritize business requirements for AI products.
• Elicit, document, and analyse stakeholder needs to define clear and actionable product requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and meetings to ensure a shared understanding of business objectives and user needs.
• Manage requirements throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with business goals.

AI Lab Head Deputy:

• Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the business unit, ensuring that activities are aligned with the organization's overall rules, policies, and objectives.
• Run local people management within the business unit, providing onboarding, guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams (HR, Financial, Office support, Business unit managers, etc) to achieve Business Unit goals and objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the Hanoi office within the business unit, seeking opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and practices.
• Update the business unit’s performance metrics and key initiatives regularly. Support the Head of Business with Portfolio Management routines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Market Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role, preferably in the AI products domain.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics is a plus.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or technical writing is desirable.
• Project/Program/Portfolio management skills are desirable.
