We are seeking a Data Analyst/Customer Support to join our team and support our client in Alexandira, VA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Program Manager to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
• Provide Customer Service and functional Support for PeopleSoft HCM application.
• Advises and assists users with various transactions, reports, and queries.
• Primarily responsible for maintaining the Department Security Tree, which is the authoritative repository for various Organization Hierarchy and Manpower Requirements (billets).
• Coordinates stand-up of new organizations with other team members.
• Document Customer Service actions in DMDC ticketing system.
• Support team and client in both functional and technical hands-on activities, including requirements gathering, application enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Provide updates on customer issues when participating in scheduled operational meetings.
• Ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
• Preparing reports for organizational leadership to use in a business setting.

Work Experience:

• Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst.
• Experience working in a Tier 1-4 customer support environment: using automated ticketing system to document customer requests.
• Experience with client facing consulting engagements.
• DOD experience is a plus.

Job Skills:

• Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
• Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
• Strong SQL or Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

• None Required.

Communication Skills:

• Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

Travel:

• Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%)

Environmental Requirements:

• Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
• May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
• Flexible in working extended hours.
