CCS service practice has embarked on a journey to build best in class Automation platform to support efficiencies in our managed service business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with entrepreneurial mindset & intense experience in Data Science & Analytics to join engineering(R&D) team in CCS Service practice as Data Science & Operations Lead

This will be a leadership role, hence prior experience in managing a team of Data Science and Data Visualization experts is a must. You will be responsible for output produced by Data Science and Data Visualization teams.

As part of Engineering team, you will:

  • Lead a team of Data science experts & data visualization engineers.
  • Be prime responsible for ownership of all front-end development, architecture setup including setup of ETL and big data.
  • Establish forward looking Data and technology objectives and developing the strategies and actions for the team to achieve them.
  • Work with the latest open-source tools, libraries, platforms and languages to build data products enabling other analysts to explore and interact with large and complex data sets
  • Partner with Product Owners and cross functional teams in a collaborative and agile environment
  • Design rich data visualizations and interactive tools and solutions to communicate complex ideas to customers and company leaders.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
  • Mentor other engineers and develop technical knowledge and skills to keep the enterprise on the cutting edge of technology.
  • Define best practice and thought leadership around data science.
  • Take initiatives and conduct exploratory data analyses and experimental designs, which will help the business to better understand trends and behavior within the market.
  • Work with various departmental heads across the business in order to provide advanced analytic data modeling systems.
  • Lead the development of big data capabilities and utilization as well as the coordination of cross-functional analytic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team in creating big data applications using structure and unstructured data.
  • Partner closely with product engineering to design, run, and analyze A/B and multivariate hypothesis tests aimed at optimizing customer experience, business KPIs and product funnels.
  • Analyze experimental data with statistical rigor. Ensure accurate interpretation by combining business acumen with detailed data knowledge and statistical expertise.
  • Collaborate with our growth team to find novel ways to activate and engage users.

Identify the immediate needs of the Machine Learning infrastructure, with a focus on setting up the ecosystem end to end. 

Your skills and experience 

You should have 15+years of experience in managing complex projects around Data Science and Data Visualization.

Good to have:

  • Passion to answer Product/Engineering questions with data.
  • Experience in leading high-performing data analyst teams.
  • Experience in analytics tools (such as Pandas, R, SPSS, SQL, or Hadoop).
  • Experience in handling crude data using the latest technologies and techniques, can perform the necessary analysis, and can present the acquired knowledge to associates in an informative way.
