What about the Data team?

At Exoticca, we believe Data is the main responsible for making data essential in key decision making across the whole organization. We capture vast amounts of data from multiple customer touch points, spanning from consideration and booking to pre-travel, travel, and post-travel. Combined with our customer-centric approach, we believe that our data-driven culture is the key to delivering unparalleled products & services that wow our customers and create unforgettable experiences to be remembered for a lifetime. 

In order to achieve such ambitious goals, our Data team works together with other departments, such as Marketing, Product, Travel, Sales or Customer Success, to uncover the most valuable insights our data can deliver, and convert them into actual company initiatives, business decisions, or product features. What is our proposal?

Join us as a MLOps, based in our city center Barcelona offices and with the possibility to work remotely in this “new normal” lifestyle.  MLOps engineers sits on the infrastructure side of things rather than development. They work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to get the pipelines up and running, setting up CI/CD, firewalls, and tracking for the longevity of machine learning models.

Which will be your main responsibilities?

• Be part of a team that takes end-to-end responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining batch & real-time data pipelines and data solutions.
• Create solutions to enable diagnostic and predictive analytics capabilities.
• Research, evaluate, and propose different data solutions in an agnostic way.
• Select, set, and manage tools & technologies to build and support a robust data infrastructure.
• Propose and help decide on the data modeling and schema design of our data stores.
• Follow best practices for all the tech teams in the company.
• Deploy and maintain MLOPS infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in a similar role as a MLOps Engineer or Architect.
• Proficiency with at least one language: Python (Java or Scala are also acceptable).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks – TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Deploy your code on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Have a good grasp of CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Infrastructure-as-code) tools (like Terraform, and CloudFormation).
• Have experience in working with relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing, and data streaming frameworks (think Apache Kafka/Spark/SQL).
• Experienced on Logging tools like Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience deploying cloud services using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK…).
