We are actively seeking a Generative AI Technical Lead to join our team and provide consulting services to our Hospitality Industry client.

Job Description

As the Technical Lead for Generative AI, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team of skilled data scientists, architects, and implementation experts. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art generative AI solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data science, strong architectural skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI projects. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:
   • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and architects.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
2. Generative AI Strategy and Planning:
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the generative AI strategy and roadmap.
   • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance our AI capabilities.
   • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in generative AI.
3. Data Science Expertise:
   • Oversee the development of robust and generative AI applications.
   • Ensure the application of best practices in machine learning and data science.
4. Solutions Architecture:
   • Design end-to-end architecture for generative AI solutions, considering scalability, security, and performance.
   • Collaborate with the architecture team to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
   • Provide technical leadership in the selection of appropriate technologies for AI implementation.
5. Implementation and Deployment:
   • Lead the implementation of generative AI and NLP models/applications into production environments.
   • Ensure the seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and processes.
   • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in algorithmic product development
• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong background in data science, machine learning, and generative AI.
• Expertise in solutions architecture with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and deploying AI solutions in real-world scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The pay range for this role is $85-125 per hour for the contract portion of the engagement. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
