Job Description

As a BI developer, your core responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that provide valuable insights. You will collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure data quality and integrity. By conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights that drive business decision-making. Provide technical support to BI team to contribute the overall success of Ocorian.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the daily execution of key deliverables within the Business Intelligence Team
• Design and develop BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in PowerBI.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Optimize query performance and data processing workflows to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Assist in the documentation of solutions for efficient knowledge transfer and team alignment.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI and Power Query, or similar platforms.
• Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
