Join us as a Data Management Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in driving data governance and improved data quality by supporting and overseeing the platform and tooling used for the management of master data. In addition to this core responsibility, you'll be involved in various projects as needed, continuously honing your expertise in master data and data quality tools. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining and advancing Zespri's knowledge base in effective master data management techniques.

 

Key accountabilities will include:

 

  • Assist in defining and enabling the processes to support effective master data management within Zespri in conjunction with Data Owners.
  • Assist in understanding and defining the master data tool (Syniti) requirements to support data management, governance, and data quality of relevant data, to ensure master data integrity across the Zespri enterprise.
  • Provide assistance in resolving data quality problems and proactively identify areas for data quality improvements.
  • Manage the Data Management toolset (including Syniti for Master Data and Data Quality) as the SME on behalf of business end users.
  • Provide end user training and support to business end users on the Data Management frameworks and tool.
  • Provide first level support for business user queries.
  • Escalate issues and attend governance working group meetings, as required.
  • Maintain the working relationship with external vendors (eg: Syniti) to ensure tooling is well supported.

You will be a team player who has 3+ years of experience working with master data management and data quality systems. You will also meet the following selection criteria:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, data management or computer science.
  • Ability to provide knowledge in business and digital as well as provide deep insight into data quality through profiling of data.
  • Understand or have knowledge of SAP ERP systems (ECC6 and S/4 Hana) 
  • Understand or have knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Quality Software (such as Syniti)
  • Analytic and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, including being able to communicate master data and data quality concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to support data loads and reporting requests, perform data administration and has tools and Data Quality Monitoring knowledge.
