What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain stable, secure, and scalable integration solutions and pipelines in support of data and analytics projects, including integrating new and existing raw and enterprise application sources of data
Configure and build out the infrastructure required for optimal storage, extraction, transformation, loading, and retrieval of data from a wide variety of data sources
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, tuning existing data objects for performance, etc.
Work with various cross-functional teams to assist with data-related requests and solution development
Work closely with engineers, product owners, data owners, and other cross-functional teams to understand data needs
Deliver solutions that are relayed directly to business leaders
Maintain delta lake architecture to support real-time and batch data processing
Contribute to the development of SSAS or other Tabular models to support complex analytics and business intelligence requirements Implement best practices for data security, backup, recovery and redundancy to ensure data integrity and availability
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and suggest improvements to our data stac
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from four-year college or university
3 to 5 years experience in a data-specific role focused on the creation, modification, and maintenance of integration solutions
Proven experience in data engineering, specifically with Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Strong proficiency in SQL Proven experience in optimizing and performance tuning pipelines and processes including experience with Python and Powershell scripting
Experience with data repository, data lake, and data warehouse architecture Demonstrate efficiency in handling data - tracking data lineage, ensuring data quality, and improving discoverability of data.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Terraform Familiarity with open-source data engineering tools and software
Experience with master data management and data governance processes and program
