Data Engineer

• Experience with Google Cloud (Big Query, Cloud Run/Build, IAM, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub)
• Strong background in API development and deployment – Apigee and/or 42Crunch
• Experience with front-end development using Angular, with a focus on data visualization and user interface design
• Familiarity and/or experience with Kafka, Postgres, MySQL, and AWS
• Knowledge or experience in AI/ML, with emphasis on data quality, integrity, and anomaly detection
• Experience with or knowledge of data quality assurance and data governance practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications leveraging Google Cloud technologies
• Utilize CA Agile Central (Rally) to manage project workflows and ensure timely delivery of software solutions
• Develop and deploy APIs to facilitate data integration and access, while also focusing on data quality and validation
• Leverage SQL language and database management skills to optimize data processing, storage, and quality control
• Utilize Angular for front-end development and user interface design to enhance data visualization and user experience
• Work with Kafka, Pubsub, Postgres, and MySQL to integrate and optimize software solutions with a focus on enhancing UX and maintaining high data quality standards
• Support data quality initiatives by implementing processes and tools to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across analytics platforms
• Contribute to the development and implementation of AI/ML solutions to drive data-driven insights and decision-making

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience working with 
  • At least one of the following cloud platform technologies: GCP, AWS, MS Azure, IBM Cloud, or VMware Cloud
  • Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, git/GitHub) 
  • Infrastructure as Code tools (Preferred: Terraform)
• Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development and data processing
• Significant experience and knowledge of Agile methodology with product team experience 
• Solid understanding of SQL language and database management
