Our core values of humble, hungry and mindful, collectively drive our out-of-the-box service offerings. The Opportunity - Data Scientist (hybrid or remote available) We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team of technology product builders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and identifying key insights to inform product development decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to drive innovation and create impactful products. Main Duties ·       Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define data-driven product requirements and ensure data quality.·       Design and build machine learning models to extract insights and improve user experience.·       Analyze large and complex data sets to identify patterns and trends.·       Develop data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.·       Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate hypotheses and evaluate product performance.·       Build data pipelines and automate data analysis workflows.·       Continuously monitor and improve model performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.·       Develop data-driven metrics to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.·       Keep up to date with the latest advances in machine learning and data science techniques. What We Are Looking For·       Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.·       3+ years of experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer.·       Strong programming skills in Python or R.·       Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling.·       Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.·       Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or D3.js.·       Strong communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.·       Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.·       MLOPs experience is an asset.·       Experience with LLMs is an asset. Our Head Office is in Calgary and we offer a hybrid-flex work arrangement. Alternatively, this position is eligible for fully-remote within any region in Canada.  We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual who is excited about building impactful products through data-driven insights.
