Job Description

As an AI Engineer focusing on the application of generative AI in the manufacturing operation domain , you will be a key player in the central manufacturing system digitization team that is responsible for driving data driven solutions for the entire mobility division of Bosch. You will be responsible for end to end development & deployment of GenAI usecases.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Model Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and manufacturing data streams.
• Design, develop, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) from foundational models.
• Improve natural language understanding, including intent recognition, structured/unstructured, characterization learning for short/long texts, etc.
• Experience in algorithm development such as large-scale search, recommendation, LLM system in Manufacturing data.
• Implement and integrate Azure Open AI models for natural language understanding and generation.

2. Chat Application Development:

• Create chat applications that leverage LLMs and Azure Open AI models.
• Develop conversational interfaces for real-time interaction with manufacturing data.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance of chat applications.

3. Data Integration:

• Work closely with data engineers to access and preprocess manufacturing data streams.
• Integrate real-time data feeds into the chat application for dynamic responses.

4. Model Deployment and Fine Tuning:

• Deploy generative AI models in production environments.
• Monitor model performance, identify anomalies, and fine-tune as needed.
• Collaborate with domain experts to improve model accuracy and performance on pre and post trained models.
• Optimize model inference at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or  Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, HTML, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience with generative models (e.g., GPT-4, LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP).
• Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Machine Learning and Azure Open AI.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment
