As a Real-Time Data Architect at Logifuture, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and implementing our next-generation data platforms. Your expertise in Kafka, ClickHouse, Looker, and various data stores will empower us to stream, process, and visualise data at scale, ensuring our analytics and business intelligence capabilities are second to none. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures for streaming data, utilizing Kafka for real-time data ingestion, ClickHouse for analytics, and Looker for data visualization.
  • Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to define and refine data models for scalability and performance.
  • Ensure data governance and security best practices are integrated into all solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on data architecture and technology, staying abreast of new technologies and trends in the data space.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance data processing, analysis, and visualization.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data systems to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support the Data Science team to get enriched data for AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or proven experience in the field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar role, with a focus on streaming data architectures.
  • Deep understanding of Kafka, ClickHouse, and various data store technologies, with experience in Looker or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance data architectures.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing principles, and data visualisation techniques.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and understanding of cloud-native architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
