Data Analyst (Sales Enablement & GTM) mission:

  • As a Data Analyst focused on Go-To-Market and Sales Enablement, you will:
    • Provide operational reporting that assesses the achievement of business outcomes/objectives and assess the health of business process execution including actionable insights to process improvement opportunities  
    • Support the Business in data-driven goal setting, strategic planning, and strategic plan execution that includes the use of leading and lagging indicators to inform how best to achieve strategic objectives
    • Provide data to support one-time requests that include, but are not limited to, root cause analysis, process analytics, business feasibility studies, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial insights/observations of correlated impact and trends from training or education programs
  • Manage and analyze training and onboarding programs' effect on Sales KPIs 
  • Manage and analyze customer training and enablement programs' effect on adoption and retention
  • Develop a deep understanding of key company growth metrics, reporting tools, and data structure to identify and drive resolution of issues, provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics, or identify, develop, and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards, or new tools
  • Create a standardized repository of growth metrics across the business by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, such as finance and sales, to understand their datasets from start to finish and compiling relevant datasets into digestible executive-level reports
  • Building views of the data and analysis that allows business (Sales) stakeholders to take action
  • Manage reporting requirements as project-driven tasks with documented requirements, timelines, and milestones
  • Partner closely with the data warehouse team to architect data-driven solutions to operations reporting requirements
  • Document techniques and train team members on self-service reporting

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with sales processes, sales skills
  • Knowledge of training or education programs and experience correlating business impact to sales productivity
  • BA/BS degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field, desired
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Data Analytics
  • 3+ years of SQL development experience
  • Significant experience with Tableau (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience with Python or R (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Docebo is a plus
  • Experience with advanced SQL queries
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Snowflake is a plus
  • Ability to create meaningful datasets
  • Experience with production machine learning models is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work quickly/accurately on multiple projects
  • Must be able to understand end results and provide creative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven problem solver

  • Create executive-level reporting around key growth levers across the business
  • Provide analytics that helps improve predictability at Cohesity
  • Derive data-driven insights to tackle Cohesity’s most complex strategic problems

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
