Job Description

The Data & Analytics Operations Manager is responsible for the functional management of Data platform and business intelligence information across IT focusing on data definition, processes, methodologies, governance, and quality across Operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage critical day-to-day data ingestion operational processes adhering to the SLA 
• Maintain data reliability in the platform, and analytics landscape, send out RCA reports for reported incidents
• Optimize big data platforms and infrastructure to support the performance and scalability requirements of analytics workloads
• Cross-team collaboration for L1 ticket prioritization and providing interactive support for user queries, and DevOps associated with data stack infrastructure
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to support the development and deployment of analytics solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on data preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment in big data environments
• Send Weekly, and monthly platform status to stakeholders and work on continuous improvement
• Flexible to work over the weekends as required 

Qualifications

Technical Skills: (knowledge, experiences, IT tools/software, languages)

• Overall 8-13 Years of experience in managing critical data ingestion.
•  Responsible for managing and leading small to medium-sized team for production support. 
• Good exposure to the Data landscape technologies including Data lake, Enterprise data warehouse
• Hands-on experience with Spark or Scala 
• Proficiency in data processing technologies such as ETL (SQL, Python) 
• Good exposure to a cloud platform preferably AWS with Devops skill for automation like Terraform 
• 3+ years Project management experience
