We are looking for a dedicated team player to lead the business data analysis, directly reporting to the operations manager.
The business data analyst is a data-driven professional that analyzes business needs and trends , within the multi-dimensional operation’s environment. Thanks to a thorough understanding of the business's operations, he provides recommendations supporting business strategy, Identifies opportunities to grow , as well as operations’ efficiency improvements. Ultimately , he will position the organization in a leading position in the marketplace.
An ideal candidate will have proven skills in data analysis and in building strong collaborative relationships in diverse multicultural environments.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic thinking :
Gather business and capacity data from different sources ( marketing , manufacturing , products requirements ) ( Analyze customer requests in regards to manufacturing capacity and constraints.) Partner with global planning, marketing, operations and manufacturing teams, finance , engineering to understand requirements Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights. Identify gaps, escalate disconnects and lead to resolution Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making process across DES organization . Coordinate with management to align strategic and tactical business priorities. Identify opportunities for process enhancements. Risk Management: identify potential risks and challenges, enabling businesses to devise strategies to mitigate these risks
Tactical objectives :
Prioritized planning and capacity assignments to optimize order books (Optimize the book order ) Improving Efficiency: By identifying areas of inefficiency within operations, streamlined processes, costs reduction, and productivity increases ( manufacturing supply chain optimization ) .
Communications
- Data Visualization: create visual representations - charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable to stakeholders.
- Develop and improve operational dashboards to increase efficiency
- Define, plan and execute operational reporting process to help management focus on key priorities
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in ( mathematics) Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline is required , engineering or business.
- At least 2 years of related data analyst experience. Direct experience in the semiconductor space and/or automotive sectors is preferred but not required
- Organization, presentation, time management and creative problem-solving skills
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to derive meaningful, actionable insights
- Project management experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel , Pivots table is mandatory , + power BI
