As a Senior Specialist on the Procurement Analytics and Digital Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in directly supporting category management teams by building reports, analyzing and interpreting procurement data to drive informed decision-making.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI to provide actionable insights and visualizations for the procurement teams.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. Conduct data analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide recommendations for procurement strategies and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with the procurement teams to understand their data requirements and ensure that the reports and dashboards meet their needs effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleansing activities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement analytics and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and global team to integrate data from various sources and ensure data consistency and reliability.
  • Train and educate procurement teams on data analysis techniques and tools to enhance their analytical capabilities.
  • Manage projects, pilots, Proof of Concepts/Value (POC/POV), and ad-hoc projects, ensuring on-time delivery according to a master project plan. This includes appropriate communication to various audiences and development/alignment of the project plan and success criteria.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, or Supply Chain Management required.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years of experience in data Analytics (Operations / Procurement / Supply chain)
  • Experience with Power BI and other advanced data analytics tools, like Tableau required
  • SQL coding experience preferred
  • Program management experience is preferred

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Experience with data modeling and data visualization best practices.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong business acumen, broad-based knowledge of sourcing, procurement, with willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and procurement.
  • Candidate must be a quick study, proven ability to adapt to change, ability to work across boundaries and strong decision making.
  • Must exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as proven ability to influence at all levels in a matrixed organization.
