About the role

At Etex SSC Vilnius, we're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Master Data Team Lead.

 

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and guide a team of Master Data analysts, ensuring collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to established priorities and deliverables. You'll play a pivotal role in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), driving performance management initiatives, ensuring compliance with processes, and spearheading process improvements. Additionally, you'll be responsible for handling escalation inquiries and fostering effective communication within the team and across departments.

Main functions

  • Lead and mentor a team of Master Data (MD) analysts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Establish team priorities, behaviors, and deliverables.
  • Monitor operational performance with metrics, prepare management reports.
  • Implement performance management strategies, including clear expectations, evaluations, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments for seamless data integration aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching and development plans.
  • Promote employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance and process controls.
  • Participate in MD-related projects.
  • Oversee data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment processes to enhance data quality.
  • Manage documentation and training for Master Data team (SOPs, Processes).
  • Collaborate on process and tool improvement initiatives.
  • Handle master data management escalations.
  • Support audits.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Information management etc.)
  • Experience in Master Data area
  • Experience of motivating & managing team of professionals to deliver to consistently high standards would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to drive team performance with a focus on quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges, ability to adapt to new culture and people.
  • Flexible approach with a strong team spirit.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with business clients.
  • Compliance & controllership mindset.
  • Strong focus to process improvements.
  • Knowledge of “SAP” platform.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
