Master Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Oversees and implements the creation, update, and maintenance of procurement master data
• Acts as procurement master data subject matter expert and ensures efficiency in data management processes
• Leads data governance to ensure data quality, transparency, and integrity
• Conducts regular RCA, continuous improvement, and data cleansing activities
• Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data accuracy, quality, timeliness, and completeness
• Implements process improvements to consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs)
• Serves as the escalation point for stakeholder queries and data requests.
• Effectively addresses or escalates complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders
• Monitors trends and identifies opportunities for process optimization and data quality enhancement
• Actively participates in the development and implementation of new data management solutions
• Stays current on industry best practices and data management trends
• Implements data governance initiatives to ensure data integrity and consistency

Qualifications

• Graduate of any business, IT-related or Engineering course
• 4-7 years of relevant work experience in Master Data (i.e. Purchase Info Records, Source List, Quota Arrangement)
• Great understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Experience with data quality tools and methodologies
• Positive communication and collaboration skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with significant attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP experience

Competencies

• SAP master data preferably Purchase Info Records, Source List, Quota Arrangement, Material Master, Spend Class
• Microsoft Office applications
• Data management skills - data governance, data quality, and master data management
• Stakeholder and client management
