Lead Healthcare Research & Data Analyst

We are looking for Lead Healthcare Research & Data Analyst for Clarivate Bangalore team  to work on the Medtech Insights team, offering therapeutic and methodological expertise to clients as well as internally. These experienced individuals are able to work independently and as part of a team to help us promote a positive work environment, produce superior content, and continuously improve. Senior analysts will experience numerous exciting opportunities during their tenure at Clarivate including:

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in forecasting in healthcare domain
• Master’s degree in life science/ Healthcare (MA, MS in life sciences or MBA) is required.
• Well-developed therapy expertise in at least one area of the medical device market, Market Research or related work experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using pivot tables and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, effective data organization strategies etc.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team to produce high quality deliverables that require little rework.
• Business acumen that helps support sales success, ongoing improvements, and relationships with internal and external stakeholder.

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Searching Clarivate 's proprietary in-house research repository/library for relevant data
• Interviewing industry participants and related medical professionals
• Stakeholder management, mentoring and guiding the junior team members, involve in project improvements etc
• Using financial, regulatory, and government documents to find key medical approval data
• Modelling and forecasting medical device markets, including but not limited to:
  • Scoping areas of emerging interest to our clients
  • Integrating highly disparate data points into a unified market model
  • Interpreting qualitative data into useable quantitative measures
  • Creating hypotheses on market and competitive dynamics based on primary and secondary data
  • Using MS Excel to manipulate large amounts of procedure code, purchasing, and other types of data
  • Forecasting markets based on expectations, new product developments, and other market disruptors
  • Identifying data trends and outliers through the use of time-series tables and graphs

• Writing and preparing comprehensive research reports. Examples include:
  • Providing insightful market analyses to explain trends and support accompanying market figures
  • Writing in-depth competitive analyses based on primary and secondary research
  • Illustrating key market trends with graphs
  • Integrating numerical data points into tables and text
  • Drawing hypotheses on potential competitive strategies in these markets

In addition, Lead Healthcare Research & Data Analyst are often asked to:

• Add insight and perspective to Clarivate’s syndicated data products and custom projects

• Provide timely, professional responses to customer inquiries, complaints, feedback, and comments
• Attend onsite client visits, acting as Clarivate’s key market expert, as required
• Assist sales/marketing with information to better sell & market products as required
• Participate in thought leadership activities. Examples include: writing healthcare related blogs, conducting webinars, participating in social media initiatives, and presenting at conferences, as required
• Support project management of junior team members’ deliverables
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through accurate deliverables that are consistent with quality standards.

About the Team   

The Med tech Insights team Consists of 25 members &  is an essential part of the broader Med tech team’s data-driven culture, and regularly contributes its subject matter expertise to other teams within the organization. 

Hours of Work  

Mon- Friday (12:00PM IST to 9:00PM IST), Hy-brid work mode

Location - Bangalore
