Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, and your day will involve understanding our specific challenges and creating and developing the data pipelines and ML models to solve and address these challenges. 

you will be responsible for creating data pipelines, solving tough machine learning problems and doing whatever it takes to make us a lot more effective at what we do.

You will be expected to relentlessly focus on making us a more effective organisation using Machine Learning and related techniques while working with, advising and assisting teams trying to utilize Machine Learning in their products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms.
• Create 
• Research, experiment, and implement state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze and preprocess large datasets to ensure data quality and suitability for machine learning applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines and workflows.
• Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning frameworks, tools, and technologies to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in machine learning and contribute to the knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3-year relevant qualification AND at least 5 years’ Machine Learning experience
• OR Relevant 1-year certification and at least 7 years Machine Learning experience
• OR Minimum 8 years Machine Learning experience
• Understand and stay abreast of machine learning methodologies and best practices.
• Have in-depth knowledge of how at least two ML algorithms work theoretically.
• Have a good understanding of Cloud computing. Understand the implications of commodified hardware to performance and design.
• Software analysis and design skills.
• Detailed understanding of math and probability
• Understand Machine Learning life cycle.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing effective ML solutions.
• Passion for and ability to solve Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Good background and proven ability in mathematics/statistics
