    Job Description

    We’re currently looking for a Senior Sales Specialist to join a thriving, driven and supportive team within our Experian Data Quality function, covering several different sectors, supporting specifically on our Data Governance Proposition. 

    The Sales Specialist will focus on cross sell and upsell opportunities of data governance products in key sectors and bring insight to the business on what clients want helping us evolve our proposition. 

    Your focus will be on growing our client base, securing new prospects, and expanding the portfolio in the data governance market, but we will also look to you to expand our partner channel, running with some key strategic engagements.   Within your discussions you will focus on having the client at the centre of all decisions, ensuring the solutions provided to the customer are fit for purpose and will deliver value both now and in the future.

    You will be part of an established, successful and collaborative team who value and support each other to succeed. You will manage your time as well as participating in a variety of internal activities which range from meetings to sales driven incentives. 

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented salesperson, who enjoys building relationships and working win a target driven environment, to join our dynamic team as we grow our client base, focusing on delivery against financial target. Our product suite is broad and you will enjoy learning and showcasing new products and services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve daily and monthly KPIs focussed on call activity, pipeline built and deals closed
    • Become an expert in Data Governance propositions
    • Work in collaboration with teams across the business including Customer Success, Pre Sales and Marketing 
    • Contribute significantly towards the Experian Data Quality roadmap, providing competitor insight
    • Maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of products, competitors and use cases.
    • Achieve and exceed targets and forecast accurately.

     

    Qualifications

    • Proven sales experience in a software or data company, with a good grasp on data governance
    • Ability to perform under pressure in a competitive environment
    • Commercially astute with an ability to influence and negotiate
    • Curiosity and intellect to build considerable knowledge and be considered an expert by clients, colleagues and industry peers.
    • Experience managing large accounts working in a matrix organisation
    • Proven Sales methodology training.
