Your Tasks
As an Data Architect you concept, design, implement and support data models within our one data platform. Your main technology will be the Microsoft Azure tech stack, Google tech stack and SAP BW on Hana. You will always find the balance between individual requirements and stable solutions. You are open to new technologies and see them as an opportunity to enable even deeper insights into data. You will work closely with our project leads, data engineers, data scientist and cloud engineers.
We work together on global projects in mixed project teams. It is important to us that everyone can contribute their experiences and concerns to discussions.
Your main tasks are:
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses while considering the overall technology landscape
- Defining the data architecture framework, overall standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data for certain data domains like Finance, Supply Chain or RnD
- Working on reference architecture, which is a pattern others can follow to create and improve data systems / models
- Design and develop data models within different technologies (Google, Azure, SAP BW)
Your Profile
What skills we are looking for:
- Completed studies of Business informatics or informatics or related ones
- > 4 years professional experience
- Strong knowledge of different data storages like Google BigQuery, Azure datalake, SQL databases, NoSQL, SAP BW Datawarehouse on HANA
- Deep understanding and knowledge of different data sources in Finance, Supply Chain or RnD
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as high self-initiative
- Experience with different data technologies
- An understanding of the different requirements that can arise in a moving data environment

- Very good ability to work in functional and cross functional) teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English. German is a plus
- Passion for data and analytics
- Open and interested in new technologies within Data & Analytics area
