Marketing Analytics - let’s introduce ourselves

 

The Marketing Analytics Team is a talented team with strong data analytics capabilities and a deep understanding of the marketing funnel performance. It supports the global Marketing organisation with the right data, results, and insights. The team’s purpose is to provide measurement and analysis to drive the business outcomes and analyse the marketing performance. 
 

Marketing Data Analyst – this is what you’ll do

In this role you will join a team of highly skilled analysts. Your main focus will be to support the markets within the APeC (Asia Pacific excluding China) region, but you will also work on global projects where your expertise will be required. 
 

You will convert complex data and findings into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations. You will also conduct ad-hoc analysis by pulling data from multiple sources including commercial performance, omnichannel marketing data, and brand benchmarking data. Further, you will be responsible for securing data consistency and integrity across our analytics platforms, which you’ll use to organise, structure and present data. 
 

You will work closely with the local APeC markets to analyse their data and troubleshoot data quality issues.  You will work with our colleagues in the media, planning and content teams to ensure that the marketing activity is impacting our business KPIs and reaching our targets.

 

We’re looking for you! 
The team is now expanding, and we are looking for a team player with a pragmatic can-do attitude and enjoys problem solving. In this role, it’s your drive, experience & passion that matter.  
 

We believe you are an analyst with more than five years of experience working with and analysing data. You thrive on bringing data together from multiple sources to derive insights and learnings. You are a self-motivator with a passion for data and troubleshooting, and working with colleagues around the world excites you.
 

You have experience with analysing data from media platforms, websites, CRM tools and other marketing sources.
 

You are comfortable using Excel and are skilled within data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI to bring the data to life. You are comfortable presenting your findings to various levels of stakeholders. You are able to decompose complex data insights and present these into a simple narrative that is easily understood. 

 

Qualifications:
•    5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst 
•    Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management skills 
•    Experience from working in a global/regional organization.
•    Advanced experience with working with marketing and media performance 
•    Strong knowledge of other data related areas, including Google Analytics, CRM Marketing, Paid Media Platforms is an advantage.
•    Good working understanding of Snowflake, AWS, GCP and other data storage platforms.
•    Fluent English written and spoken.
•    Understanding of Python or SQL is an advantage.
 

Location: Kuala Lumpur. International travel may be required.
