Junior Data Scientist / Artificial Intelligence consultant

Join our Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) team is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights for our clients. We offer a full suite of services that focus on applying our experience across the entire data and analytics value chain. We are a cross-functional team intervening in all industries and sectors, covering the whole information value chain: from Data Management through Data Visualization to Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for someone eager to apply edge technologies in an innovative way to fill the latest gaps in the market.

What you will do:

• Develop data analytics model for descriptive and predictive analytics (including implementation of state-of-the-art generative AI models and algorithms)
• Be curious, research and explore new techniques in generative AI, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
• Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
• Design and build scalable pipelines for data collection, pre-processing, training, and evaluation of AI models.
• Gather raw data and create data visualization scenarios, as well as dashboards under the guidance of project team
• Use advanced statistical methods including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and quantitative analytics to create reusable assets, solutions and developing best practices for current and future business problems
• Create quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences
• Conduct experiments and fine-tune models to optimize performance, addressing challenges such as stability, transparency, diversity, and generalization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into generative AI solutions.

What about you:

• A master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer science
• Proactive and dynamic attitude, you pay attention to detail and have a client-oriented approach
• Strong data & logical analysis skills
• Familiar with advanced analytics (predictive analytics / machine learning) and the use of data analytics tools such as Python or R, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview)
• Knowledge of statistical and analytical modelling techniques including (but not limited to) classification, linear & logistic regression, XGBoost, Neural Networks, decision trees, random forest, Naïve Bayes and support vector machines. Initial exposure to using generative AI techniques such as GANs, VAEs, and deep reinforcement learning is a plus.
• Familiar with concepts like Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL, traditional Relational Database Management Systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and Data Management processes
• First experience in the Financial Services Industry and / or any other business / IT expertise will be considered an asset
• Previous experience in high performance Computing (HPC) will be a plus
• Knowledge / experience or certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Services or Nvidia will be considered a plus
• Strong verbal / written communication & data presentation skills
• Fluency in English. French, German and / or Luxembourgish will be considered an asset
