Job Description

As an AI/Machine Learning Engineer at Merkle, you will be an integral part of our growing team, focused on leveraging modern AI technologies to inspire creativity and enhance our products and services. With a primary emphasis on natural language processing (NLP) and cloud-based solutions, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy machine learning models, ensuring scalability, reliability, and effectiveness in addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities:

1. NLP Development: Lead the development of NLP solutions, including language models, LMN models, and other advanced NLP techniques, applying tools such as Azure Machine Learning Studio.
2. Model Development: Develop machine learning models for several tasks, including data classification, token classification, sentiment analysis, entity recognition.
3. Cloud Integration: Utilize Azure cloud services to develop AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and scalability to meet growing demands.
4. Collaboration: Work with teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to understand our requirements and translate them into AI solutions.
5. Research and Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, conduct research to explore new methodologies, and evaluate their applicability to our projects.
6. Performance Optimization: Fine-tune machine learning models for optimal performance, addressing issues related to accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency.
7. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed models, including technical specifications, implementation details, and user guides.
8. Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI development processes.

You will be reporting to the Cloud Solutions Manager

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in AI/machine learning roles, with a focus on NLP and cloud-based solutions.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
3. Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as HuggingFace, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
4. Understanding of NLP concepts and techniques, including word embeddings, language models, and text classification.
5. Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Machine Learning Studio.
6. Familiarity with deep learning architectures, such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers.
7. Knowledge of software engineering principles, including version control (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
8. Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
9. Fluency in English
