Acentra seeks a Senior Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

As the spearhead of our Enterprise Data Science and Advanced Analytics division, this role is at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in data intelligence. You will be pivotal in harnessing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, thereby influencing strategic decisions across the healthcare spectrum. Your leadership will not only guide the Business Intelligence team but also serve as a beacon for integrating AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling to enhance healthcare outcomes. Your mission includes the agile delivery of sophisticated reports and analytics solutions, crafting advanced BI tools and systems, and ensuring our data ecosystem empowers both internal stakeholders and external partners with transformative insights. Your role involves a blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and the ability to conceptualize methods that leverage Big Data, machine learning, and cloud computing to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Forge and cultivate partnerships with interdisciplinary teams across product development, digital transformation, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence to ensure the seamless execution of advanced analytics strategies and the adherence to architectural blueprints and technical standards.
  • Champion the technical vision for data architecture, analytics frameworks, and BI strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and technological advancements.
  • Govern the integrity and security of data flows within our ecosystem, ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations and best practices in data management.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs and presentations to enhance the analytics capabilities of both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactively engage in industry forums and innovation networks to explore novel analytics methodologies and tools, aiming to streamline our processes and enhance the utility of our data assets.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and governance of analytics solutions, facilitating replicability and adherence to quality standards.
  • Advocate for and implement improvements in internal processes through active participation in strategic committees and by serving as a mentor to burgeoning analysts.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence in analytics, mentoring team members in best practices and leading-edge technologies.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful reports and analytics deliverables, underpinning our commitment to data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead team dynamics, including recruitment, skill development, and performance management, to build a high-performing Business Intelligence team. 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Advanced degree (MA/MS) and undergraduate degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with a preference for additional qualifications in Data Science or Health Informatics.
  • Demonstrated leadership in deploying enterprise-scale data analytics, governance, and quality frameworks, with a commitment to leveraging data as a strategic asset.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proficient in synthesizing and communicating complex data insights to a diverse audience, with stellar verbal and written communication prowess.
  • Agile in navigating tight deadlines and resource constraints, with a knack for prioritizing high-impact analytics initiatives.
  • Expertise in designing and interpreting analytics frameworks for non-specialist stakeholders, with a focus on healthcare applications.
  • Solid foundation in user-centric analytics, with a track record of converting vast data lakes into strategic intelligence to inform business strategies.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, and modern database technologies, with hands-on experience in AI/ML algorithms and cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in visual analytics and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent, translating data into compelling stories.
  • A strong background in the healthcare domain, with insights into patient outcomes, healthcare data standards, and digital health trends.
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $125,000.00

“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
