Acquia and Akamai Specialist

Key Responsibilities:Acquia Platform Management:Configure and deploy websites and applications on the Acquia Cloud Platform, including Drupal-based content management systems (CMS).Manage Acquia environments, including development, staging, and production, to ensure stability, performance, and security.Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimizations to maximize uptime and user experience.Akamai CDN Implementation:Design and implement Akamai CDN solutions to accelerate content delivery, improve website performance, and enhance security.Configure caching rules, content delivery policies, and edge optimizations to optimize content delivery and mitigate DDoS attacks.Monitor Akamai CDN performance metrics, analyze traffic patterns, and adjust configurations as needed to optimize performance.Security and Compliance:Implement Akamai security features, such as Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Manager, and DDoS protection, to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS) related to data privacy, security, and content delivery.Technical Support and Troubleshooting:Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal teams for Acquia and Akamai-related issues.Collaborate with Acquia and Akamai support teams to resolve escalated issues and implement solutions.Documentation and Best Practices:Document configurations, processes, and best practices for Acquia and Akamai deployments.Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams on Acquia and Akamai technologies and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience working with Acquia Cloud Platform and Drupal CMS.Strong understanding of Akamai CDN technologies, including CDN configuration, caching, and security features.Experience with web performance optimization techniques, including CDN caching, image optimization, and content delivery acceleration.Knowledge of web security best practices, including WAF, DDoS protection, and SSL/TLS encryption.Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
