We are looking for a Data Analyst, who is interested in a new challenge, wants to make a difference, and contributes to the development of our global front risk management framework.
The 1LoD Data Analyst will be part of the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) function within the ‘Three Lines of Defence’ model, working within the Front Risk Management (FRM) team.
More specifically, we are looking for a new team member who supports in the development of a globally aligned 1LoD data, tools and reporting landscape.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support in defining and implementing a globally aligned 1LoD data, tools and reporting landscape
• Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
• Develop and maintain our data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
• Evaluate business and control processes, anticipate, and consolidate requirements, identify areas for improvement in close collaboration with the Front Risk Management team and further stakeholders (CRO, IT, IWMS)
• Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on databases like Oracle, Hive&Presto and Tableau
• Design, develop, test, and document new / changes to integration and reporting applications
• Act as project manager for risk reporting related initiatives
• Produce risk and controls reports for various organisational levels (from Booking Center- to Team-level and Legal Entity view) on a regular basis
• Build up tracking methods for risk and control environments
• Develop reports, analyses and transfer findings into user-friendly presentations/summaries
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of project milestones and change requests

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong analytical, conceptual and practical implementation skills
• Excellent knowhow of SQL and Tableau
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python)
• 5-10 years work experience as a data analyst and data architect/data engineer in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets
• Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases
• Ability to oversee complexity and to work under pressure
• Decisive, proactive and act with care and assertiveness
• Good language skills (English a must); other languages a plus
• Ability to work on own initiative, willing to take on responsibility
• Excellent command of MS Office Suite and strong affinity to technology
