In Malaysia, we are involved in significant oil and gas production operations and the marketing of chemical products. We also host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil’s upstream, downstream and chemical businesses worldwide.

What role you will play in our team

Provide comprehensive support in respect of Data Visualization tools (for example, Seeq, XHQ and PI Vision) to businesses and their EMIT partners who require the capability to visualize live data, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding production, performance, and reliability.
The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What you will do

• Support users of the data visualization tools for Prod Tech EGUL IT (for example Seeq, XHQ and PI Vision)
• Directly engage with users to troubleshoot, perform consultation on best practices, sharing of knowledge through bootcamp and trainings
• Ensure that the tools provided are the latest version and suitable to user's demand and with organization mandate by holding the appropriate tests and upgrade/migration

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Skilled in Data analytics, Infrastructure knowledge, Business Analysis
• Experienced at maintaining support on screens development and enabling access to operational data 
• Experienced at troubleshooting issues and proposed solutions and workarounds
• Experienced at conducting system testing – execute job flows,  investigate system defects, resolve defects and document results
• Cloud knowledge
• Able to demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Work experience in Agile methodology is a plus
• Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple levels
