Sr Director, AI Engagement

Overview: This is a key role in the development and deployment of new Generative AI-based solutions. In this leadership position and as a key player in Blue Yonder’s AI Innovation Studio, you will work closely with early adopter software clients and / or internal customers to understand their business challenges and collaborate with our technology team to design solutions using Generative AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience running design-led customer engagements for software companies combined with excellent consulting and project management skills. Experience with Generative AI technologies from companies such as OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Github, or Meta would be helpful.

What you will do:

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and assess opportunities for AI-driven solutions to address their needs.

• Solution Design: Work closely with clients and to design and architect AI solutions that align with business goals.

• Customization and Configuration: Configure and customize Blue Yonder’s AI platforms and solutions to meet client-specific requirements and use cases.

• Implementation Planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for AI solution implementation, and manage the execution of projects to ensure successful delivery.

• Technical Integration: Collaborate with client IT teams to integrate Blue Yonder’s AI solutions with existing systems, databases, and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.

• Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams on the use and maintenance of AI solutions, empowering them to leverage the technology effectively.

• Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance, and address any issues or defects identified.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• 15 years of experience in design-led customer engagements, software implementation, or consulting management.

• Experience with co-development projects where you’ve bridged the gap between a development team and end-users in order to build a new product.

• Excellent consulting, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels of the organization.

• Proven track record of leading successful customer projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

The salary range for this position is $186,298 - $241,702

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
