Data Engineer

Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field desirable or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying big data solutions in cloud environments (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with distributed data systems.
• Proven track record in optimizing big data solutions for performance and cost.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools.
• Advanced understanding of big data and data warehouse concepts.
• Best practices for Data Warehouses Architectures.
• Best practices for developing ETL/ELTs with Python.
• Performance analysis for data processing.
• Experience with Big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.
• Experience creating store procedures, functions and packages.
• Experience manipulating and retrieving data (SQL).
• Advanced experience designing data models.
• Experience storing, organizing and managing SQL and NoSQL data bases.
• Advanced knowledge of database and query optimization.
• Experience with data migration from on premise to cloud and from cloud to cloud.
• Advanced english proficiency.
