We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Senior Business Analyst at Monta, you will be working primarily with the executive (C-Level) team to analyze Monta’s data to surface business insights and build standardized reporting. 

This is a high-profile role with senior exposure, that will put you in the center of our company strategy as we continue scaling. In this role, you will be “directly exposed to the fire” - and as such you must be able to withstand pressure from multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and communicate complex data issues to senior leaders with strong solution-oriented project management skills. However, this role also allows you to have an outsized impact on the company and our decision-making processes. It will also provide a great learning experience and direct exposure to business strategy and operations at a scale-up with ample growth opportunities. 

If this sounds like you, we’re looking forward to seeing your application! You will be reporting to Violeta, our Chief of Staff, and work within our Executive Office while working closely with our Head of Data and growing data team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own incoming requests and data projects from executives for creating dashboards, reports, specific analysis, and data models 
  • Create communication and presentation materials based on key pieces of analysis
  • Identify insights and run data analysis to drive key strategic decisions for executive management team 
  • Build and consistently improve on the reporting of key metrics and KPIs across the business for internal and external (the Board) stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry for key KPIs 
  • Work closely with revenue operations and finance to ensure key business metrics are readily available to whole organization for data-driven decision-making
  • Work on increasing data literacy and consistency of data definitions in org

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a data analyst position 
  • Extensive experience with Tableau (or other BI tool) to create dashboards and standardized reports is a must 
  • Mastery of SQL is a must; experience with SQL in Snowflake/DBT is a plus 
  • Some level of Python is required
  • Focus on business insights and impact on company strategy is a plus 
  • Experience building communication materials, PowerPoint / Google Slides is a plus
  • Proven examples of project management in cross-functional team environment 
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage senior stakeholders 
  • Eye for detail and consistency in metrics & KPIs
