Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Product Risk Operations team that owns the development of Urbint’s AI-powered technology that helps our clients make communities safer and more resilient. Our technology helps our customers in reducing carbon emissions, reducing infrastructure risk and avoiding fatalities, a fact that we pride ourselves in.
As a part of the Risk Operations team, you will be working on a wide range of activities related to end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) deployments, research and development of ML product features, and developing custom analytical solutions to support internal and external stakeholders. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety and is also looking to expand their skill set in a structured fashion.
What You’ll Do
- Become a subject matter expert on Urbint’s products, including understanding how AI can be used in the utilities industry to help our clients desired outcomes.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations, dashboard, and reports to communicate performance metrics and actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct custom analysis and reporting for customer facing teams to communicate Urbint’s product value.
- Support extraction, transformation and load (ETL) process and conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) by understanding domain knowledge for development of machine learning models that align with our business objectives.
- Support design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning models to support existing as well as new customers.
- Support machine learning model rebuilds by tracking key performance metrics to ensure deployed machine learning models are up-to-date and performing optimally.
- Support R&D efforts related to machine learning product features development.
Who You Are
- 1-3 years of experience in technology, engineering, or analytics related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Integration, Statistics or another related degree
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Concepts
- Practical experience using Python, R or other high level programming languages
- Practical experience with Git and SQL
- Knowledge of GIS products such as ArcGIS, QGIS
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and derive actionable insights
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of visualization and data prep tools are a plus
- High degree of accountability
- Utility, Infrastructure or Energy related field experience is a plus
