Job Description

Summary

Blend360 is seeking a BI Solutions and Delivery Leader for our Business Analytics group to augment our BI Delivery practice. Coming from a strong consulting background in BI, you will play a critical role in developing forward-looking BI solutions and leading a team of consultants for our client engagements. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who can demonstrate charisma as well as technical credibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and captivate clients with compelling solutions, acceleration ideas and pre-sales material. Publish whitepapers to promote Blend’s BI services
• Act as a solutions lead in client engagements, managing and providing guidance for a diverse team of Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and Solution Strategists. 
• Serve as a trusted BI advisor to Blend’s clients, managing expectations for the BI team’s delivery, meeting scope, timelines, quality control, etc.
• Demonstrate hands-on technical ability when needed in developing reporting applications
• Maintain and project awareness of the latest trends and practices in the field of BI such as new features in BI tools, cloud-based BI technologies, AI applications in BI, data governance, BI workflow integration including ETL platforms, performance and cost impacts of BI on cloud architecture
• Work with team partners on the architecture and supporting data structure to guarantee high-performance, scalable cloud reporting solutions
• Work cross-functionally with teams in other disciplines to build string relationships

Qualifications

Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a BI consulting role with a reputed BI consulting firm in a solutioning and delivery capacity
• 5+ years technical experience in one or more cloud-based BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Looker Studio.  Familiarity with native BI functionality within cloud platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake (Streamlit) is a plus
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks preferred
• Strong presentation skills – demonstrated ability to simplify complex situations and ideas and distill them into compelling and effective written and oral presentations (samples may be requested)
• Solutioning skills – ability to understand and rapidly comprehend new areas, functional and technical, and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions. Ability to understand and clearly articulate the value of business use cases in enterprise BI transformation
• Technical Integration and Program Management - Must have demonstrated strong project management and solution integration skills on large BI projects. Ability to architect and scope complex projects involving multiple cloud platforms across the back end (data warehouse), transformation of data (ETL) and visualization (cloud BI tools)
• Demonstrated record of publishing white papers on new BI trends is a plus (LinkedIn, Medium, etc)
• Some travel will be required
