Job Description

1. Design and implement robust data architectures and models to support business analytics, data science, and operational use cases.
2. Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data, using ETL/ELT processes, workflow orchestration tools, and custom scripts.
3. Proficiency in managing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
3. Ability to manage data engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and objectives
4. Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Pyspark, especially related to data engineering tasks.
8. Experience with GCP cloud services for data processing and storage, including managed services.
9. The candidate must have strong communication skills to explain analysis/insights of complex business problems.
10. Ability to think and speak strategically, provide recommendations internally as well as externally.
