You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• 1+ years of experience in big data and data quality testing. 
• Experience applying data profiling in high volumes of data 
• Experience in testing ETL
• Experience in SQL 
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and QA mindset.
• Experience working with schedulers tools e.g. airflow, autosys, etc.
• Experience working with test management tools (e.g. ALM) and requirement/defect work-flow management tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Expertise in creating and executing test plans, test cases.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and QA mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Solid understanding about relational and non-relational databases and integrity verifications
• English Full Professional Proficiency

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Effectively document and communicate defects found during testing.
• Write medium to complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Verify with best practices, backend applications and tools, database, and Big Data.
• Verify capturing of analytics events in related file systems or databases through SQL, or a scripting language (Python, shell scripting, etc.)
• Develop, maintain & execute regression automation for GUI, Backend Services & ETL.

Qualifications

Technical skills

• Strong Python coding skills
• 1+ year of experience working with big data
• Experience applying data profiling
• Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Experience with Azure or knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services
• Strong SQL skills
