Are you a skilled and experienced Big Data Analyst looking for a new opportunity to make an impact? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the analysis and interpretation of large datasets. As a Big Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from complex data sources to drive informed business decisions. This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes. Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• 3+ Experience with big data tools and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.3+ Strong experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes.
• 5+ Familiarity with databases and data warehousing solutions, both relational (like MySQL, Oracle)
• and non-relational (like MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture.
• Experience in automation and setup scheduling jobs on Hadoop like Apache Tuber or other tools
• Experience with kafka or flink steaming data to hadoop is a plus
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is plus
• Experience with data visualization tools and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI etc. can be a plus.
