Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex data pipelines using MS Azure and other modern data engineering tools. 
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineering staff, promoting best practices in data engineering. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data solutions that meet business requirements. 
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. 
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of data pipelines. 
Engage with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. 
Ensure data solutions are compliant with company policies and data governance practices. 
Maintain documentation for all data engineering processes, data models, and standard operating procedures. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, professional training, or certifications. 
6+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. 
Proficient in SQL, with extensive experience in MS Azure and other data engineering tools. 
Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data architectures. 
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. 
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and mentor junior staff. 
Experience with data governance and data quality management is a plus.
