Cash Data domain

In Cash Data domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business smoothly. The clients that are using and benefiting from the results of our work are well-known multinational corporates, many of which you know and use their products. The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and many more. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.

As a Lead Data Engineer (f/m/x) you'll be part of the team responsible for building Big Data platform capabilities, including ingesting pipelines, big data processing pipelines and data preparation. You'll work on designing hybrid data platform across Public Cloud and On-premises resources. We are looking for engineers with strong design and coding skills, team players, motivated and self-driven. People with passion for software engineering and the ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Create technical design and architecture for the hybrid data platform
• Lead a team of Data Engineers & DevOps from implementation to solution productionization, work closely with other teams to understand their data requirements and provide scalable solutions
• Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms and pipelines
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
• We value code quality, refactoring and engineering best practices and expect that from you as well ​

Your skills and experiences

• Strong experience in designing resilient distributed clusters and SRE tools
• Strong experience working with Distributed Columnar Databases, e.g. Redshift, Clickhouse, BigQuery
• Proficient in designing and hands-on development of data processing pipelines and analytical components for complex data products
• Strong expertise in Spark, Java, or Scala, knowledge of any Cloud technology, preferably GCP
• Strong communication skills, good written and spoken English
