Business Intelligence Manager

Summary

This position will we be the leader of a team that focus on developing data solutions for our Global Services customers. This individual is responsible for leading of a team of Data Engineers who are supporting legacy and cloud data environments/processes across multiple business functions. This role will also work closely with business and technical resources to develop strong partnership and collaboration for the development of data solutions.

A successful leader for this team will have a solid understanding of the technical capabilities, as well as the complexities that come along with data/analytics solutions. This individual will set direction and manage deliverables to achieve that direction while also engaging with team members to ensure they achieve their goals and have a fulfilling experience while working at Simplot. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and align on initiatives.
• Develop plans and communicate roadmaps for Global Services projects.
• Manage a data team to deliver data solutions and training to the business.
• Work within the ED&A Data and Analytics framework to ensure consistency and cross-collaboration.
• Establish and ensure the appropriate communications, change management, and delivery of solutions.
• Provide a working environment that is fun and focused on execution.

Typical Education

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 5 years related experience leading a technical/data team.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to achieve results.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to create and manage to a strategic roadmap.
• Understanding and experience of Agile methodologies.
