Job Description

We are newly created Centre Of Robotics Excellence Group within BGSW Center and we are working on pushing the state of the art research output to the industrially applicable standard. We work alongside the Robotics & Autonomous Systems (RAS) Software Group which works on portfolio of innovative autonomous systems projects as joint Partner with multiple internal Bosch partners.

This position will focus on efficient implementation of the core robotics algorithms and development tooling, improving their performance and enabling easy deployment. This includes researching state of the art approaches and exploration of possible modifications to these algorithms. High level of independence and proactive approach is expected.

Qualifications

Mandatory skills/technologies:

  • Strong C++ 14/17 experience (3+ years)
  • Expertise in at least one of the HPC frameworks (CUDA, OpenCL, Vulkan, etc.)
  • Git
  • Linux (Ubuntu)
  • English at professional working proficiency

Desired skills/technologies:

  • ROS/ROS 2 experience (2+ years)
  • Software Architecture
  • Python
  • CI/CD/Jenkins
  • Docker
  • SLAM algorithms
  • Simulation / game engines
  • SCRUM
  • PhD in robotics or other relevant field is a plus.
