The Opportunity :
We translate business needs into machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) projects, identify suitable algorithms and ML strategies for implementation, and evaluate their potential business impact, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency. We stay informed about the latest developments in ML and NLP to guide the technological progress of the Observe.AI NLP platform. We focus on building contact center specific large language models, training, evaluating, and refining ML models for various downstream applications, and creating high-quality, domain-specific datasets for tasks like instruction tuning, modeling human preferences, and retrieval applications.
What you will get to do:
Design & develop state-of-the-art AI capabilities end-to-end from conception to production for Observe.AI’s product offerings, in a fast-paced startup environment.Work with advanced NLP approaches and Large Language Models (LLMs), applying instruction tuning, human-preference modeling, and parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods (e.g., p-tuning, adapters, LoRA) to enhance LLM performance for contact-center specific applications.Lead the collection, creation, and annotation of domain-specific datasets to train Large Language Models (LLMs) for various tasks and applications.Define performance and quality metrics for evaluating AI and system components across different platforms.Collaborate with the machine learning team on innovative projects, mentor junior members, influence peers and stakeholders, and engage with engineers, product managers, customer-facing teams, and customers to identify challenges and opportunities, aiming to develop precise solutions for specific issues.Contribute to the community through tech blogs and publishing papers in ML/ NLP conferences like EMNLP, ACL, etc.Compensation, Benefits and PerksExcellent medical insurance options and free online doctor consultationsYearly privilege and sick leaves as per Karnataka S&E ActGenerous holidays (National and Festive) recognition and parental leave policiesLearning & Development fund to support your continuous learning journey and professional developmentFun events to build culture across the organizationFlexible benefit plans for tax exemptions (i.e. Meal card, PF, etc.)
