We are currently looking for a Data Science Intern interested to join our Data Development Insights and Strategy team in Boston, MA.

 

The DDIS team is on a mission to transform Red Hat's business using Data & AI. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join us as a Data Science Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in the development of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence systems, as well as a background in computer science and mathematics. They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. An aptitude for learning quickly and a dedication to continuous improvement are also essential qualities.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate creativity, resilience, and enthusiasm while collaborating with other engineers and product developers to design and develop advanced AI Solutions. Our ideal Data Science Intern will be an ambitious self-starter who is eager to learn and contribute to our dynamic and forward-thinking team.

 

As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and gain experience on the technical side, and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally.

What you will do

In this role, you will be assisting with day-to-day activities to support some of our key technical functions here at Red Hat, encompassing areas as diverse as business systems analysis, enterprise hardware support, IT customer experience, software engineering, data science, systems administration, etc. Red Hat will work to match you to the technical function best suited to your interests and skill sets. You'll need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively, be a quick learner, and have solid technical skills.
