BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW

Internal Audit independently assesses the firm’s internal control structure. We provide assurance that financial reporting is reliable, that there is compliance with applicable laws and regulations and that the firm’s operations are effectively controlled. We assist management in commercially managing risk by providing advice in developing control solutions and monitoring the implementation of management’s control measures. IA assists the firm’s Board of Directors’ Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities and regularly interacts with the external independent auditors. 

 

The IA Technology Strategy Office (TSO) for IA Data Analytics team drives the strategic vision for Data Engineers/Scientists and Data Reporting team to leverage its programming and analytical capabilities to build innovative data driven solutions and manage the data ecosystem within the division. The team works closely with auditors to understand their pain points and develop data-centric solutions to address the same. We are a team of talented and passionate program managers, product managers and business analysts supporting technology transformation initiatives. We work closely with IA leadership, designers, and engineers to help architect and develop technologies for IA.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION, PRODUCT MANAGER

  • Collaborate with project sponsors and auditors to establish a product strategy and road map.
  • Manage and execute the Agile framework. Enable agile delivery by conduct agile ceremonies and leading product development processes (writing user stories, testing)
  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to approved projects.
  • Manage product launches and deployment plans for new products.
  • Track and conduct regular internal and leadership cadence to update on program status. 
  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies. 
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies for new product features 
  • Maintain connectivity with the user community by monitoring usage of the product post-launch and validating product performance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in an agile environment. Preferred Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team. 
  • Independent and comfortable in a fast-paced and often multi-directional work environment
  • Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with python and tableau (a plus)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
